Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use quickestcoverage.ca (the "site"), operated by JustRates Inc. ("JustRates", "we", "us"), a performance marketing company incorporated in Canada. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What this service is

Quickest Coverage is a lead referral service. We collect the information you choose to give us and sell it to one or more licensed Canadian insurance brokers, agents, or advisors, who then contact you to discuss insurance options. We receive a referral fee for each enquiry we sell.

To be explicit about what we are not:

• We are not an insurance company, insurer, or underwriter.
• We are not an insurance broker, agent, or advisor, we hold no insurance licence, and nothing on this site is insurance advice or a recommendation of any product.
• We do not issue, underwrite, administer, or service insurance policies.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any lender, bank, insurer, or government body.

2. No offer of insurance, and no guarantee

Nothing on this site is an offer of insurance, a binder, a quote, or a promise that coverage will be issued to you. Eligibility, pricing, terms, exclusions, and approval are determined solely by the insurer that would issue the policy, on its own underwriting. Any figure, range, or example here is illustrative only.

Statements about typical costs, timelines, or the likelihood of qualifying with a health condition are general information, not a prediction about you.

3. Eligibility

You may use this site only if you are at least 18 years old, resident in Canada, and located in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, or Nova Scotia. We are not currently able to serve residents of Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, or the territories.

4. Your information must be accurate and yours

You agree that the information you submit is true, that it relates to you, and that the phone number and email address you give are yours to use. Submitting someone else's contact details without their knowledge is not permitted and may be unlawful.

Insurers verify what applicants tell them. Inaccurate information can lead to a declined application or, worse, a declined claim later. Being accurate is in your interest.

5. Consent to the sale of your information, and to contact

Before your enquiry is submitted we text you a one-time code and ask you to enter it. Completing that step is your express consent for us to sell, share, and transfer your information (including health information you provided) to one or more licensed insurance brokers or advisors, to be compensated for doing so, and for JustRates and those parties to contact you by telephone (including automated or pre-recorded calls), text, and email about your enquiry, including where your number is on the National Do Not Call List.

Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. Message and data rates may apply. Withdraw consent at any time: reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, tell the advisor directly, or email privacy@quickestcoverage.ca. Withdrawal does not undo a sale that has already taken place.

6. How we are paid

The site is free for you to use and we will never charge you. We are paid a referral fee by the buyer of your enquiry. That fee does not increase the premium of any policy you take out.

7. The advisor is independent of us

Any broker or advisor who contacts you is an independent third party, not our employee or agent. They are responsible for the advice they give, the products they recommend, how they handle your information after we transfer it, and their own compliance with the licensing rules of your province. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their conduct. Any dispute about advice, conduct, or a policy is between you, that advisor, and the insurer.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use the site to submit false or automated entries, to scrape or copy it, to interfere with its operation or security, to submit anyone else's personal information without authority, or for any unlawful purpose.

9. Intellectual property

The site, its content, and the Quickest Coverage name and logo belong to JustRates Inc. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission. Any third-party names mentioned belong to their owners, and their use does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

10. Disclaimers

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent the law allows we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any advisor will contact you within any particular time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, JustRates Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or from any dealing with an advisor or insurer, and our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to CAD $100.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify JustRates Inc. against claims and costs arising from your breach of these terms, or from your submitting information that is not yours or not true.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, who we sell it to, and what your rights are. It forms part of these terms.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the date you use the site, and the date and version at the top tell you when it last changed.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction. This does not limit any right you have to bring a claim in your own province where the law allows.
